The CEO further explained that each head of household would be given a monthly allowance of one hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢100.00) for a period of one year. A portion of the total annual allowance will be used to help households to begin an alternative livelihood venture of their choice. The CEO urged the people to start thinking about possible alternative livelihood ventures of their choice. He also encouraged the people to think of entering into partnership when it comes to starting an alternative livelihood venture. Two people who owned two bedrooms each at Brewohodi village and are living at Bator village asked when their properties would be made available to them. The two people said they wanted the houses and not financial compensation.
